An air of wistfulness pervades Emily Scott's Garden like the heady fragrance of night-scented stock. As her tenderly reflective voice drifts though billows of diaphanous music, the serenity of her green thoughts in a green shade is tinged with yearning. Scott has honed her skills as composer and performer on four solo LPs, most recently 'Stray Light'. She is also known for her work with the group Modern Studies who, in the wake of their acclaimed LP 'The Weight of the Sun' (2020), have recently issued two digital EPs, 'Life Flows in Endless Song' and 'The Body is a Tide'.
